War Eagle

I have to break before I tackle Christmas pictures, so I just thought I'd post these from a few days ago.  Costner is such a joy in our home.  I wondered why I was pregnant in the midst of all the hell that broke loose this past summer, and now I know.  When I was pregnant, people would say, "Oh just wait.  THREE is a challenge."  And I was thinking, "Really?  I mean, do you have any idea what I've gone through?  What's a BABY going to do to me?"  I WELCOME a baby.  A baby is wonderful.  To be honest, 3 is a heck of an easier transition than 2 was.  With Jaggar, we had to totally divide our attention from Sage for the first time.  She was used to being the center of attention.  She kind of freaked.  Now?  Everyone was used to waiting anyways.  Now sometimes it's a little longer.  Sage is a great help to me.  She LOVES this baby and is ready for another.

 Oh, the reason for the title of the post.  (I have to come up with something for EVERY post.)  Travis' friend, Steve, brought this to us in the hospital, and Steve is a huge Alabama fan, so this was a big deal.

 Obviously, Travis told Jaggar to do that because, sadly, for Auburn, all 10 fingers wouldn't have been their rank this season.

 Such a cutie.  Someone else tell me how he "LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE TRAVIS."  :)  I don't mind that.  And he does favor Travis, but I don't think they're identical twins.  Maybe fraternal.  I don't see myself in him. but what I'm saying is, "I just see my baby when I look at him."  I'm so terrible at identifying babies with adults.  But everyone here has said all of our kids look like Travis from the time they are born.  And with the older 2, I KNOW that's not true.  So it's hard to really know anyway.

 Sage wanted to get in.  Oh, fyi...we had 5 trees.  All are down and put away except mine.  Why?  Because the purple lights on this tree make the perfect night light for the many diaper changes I have to accomplish in the night.  SO...not sure if we'll transfer those lights to something less Christmas-y or be redneck and have the tree up for quite a while.
