Hospital Days

I am going to catch this thing up today.  I can tell.  :)  These are from my phone, as noted by the obvious lack of detail as compared to the prior posts.  But I like them.  I am ALMOST out of the hospital pictures, which is good, because he's gotten SOOO cute these days.

Poor Jaggar...just not completely sure here.
I had some major epidural action going on...so much so, that I was unable to walk until about 9:30 that night.  Luke and Amanda came in not long after I had Costner but long enough that everyone was gone.  It was nice to see them, and Luke was one of the first to hold him aside from family.  Luke also brought me peanut butter fudge, which scored him major points.  Since my hospital food was pretty terrible, I downed a piece or 5.  He also told me about the songs they practiced for the Christmas service, which would be in about 2 1/2 weeks, as if I'd be there.  Funny thing was, I was.  And I did sing with them.  :)
Dr Caballero checking him out.  This is the part of the "rooming-in" system of RMC that I really liked.  With my other 2, we never saw the pediatrician examine them.  We just kind of heard about the results.  Dr C is THE pediatrician in Anniston.  Everyone uses him, and based on all that I heard, I would have chosen him with Sage because I heard of no one else.  Well, Travis dated his ex wife and thought that may be awkward (as if he EVER goes to the doctor with the kids), so he steered me to Doggett.  Now it doesn't. MATTER now because we are with Dela Cruz now, who is awesome, but I did think that nothing with Jaggar's ear ever would have happened if we'd have used Caballero from the beginning.  That's neither here nor there though. :)  He immediately discovered that Costner was tongue tied and took care of that the next day.
Sweet smile.  This was right after he was born.

Travis' best friend, Steve, and his wife, Joanie, came by too.  Steve actually came by a few times.  They brought balloons, chocolate for me, clothes for the baby and toys for Sage and Jaggar.  So sweet.

Love this picture of Jaggar with his new brother.  So sweet.

Elizabeth came by to hold the sweet baby, too.  She also made a ton of great food for us with carb counts for when I was back to reality at home, which we were very thankful for.
One of my favorite newborn reflexes--the way they grip your finger.  Nothing like it.

I love Jaggar's face in this one.  He was not happy to be interrupted from the ipad to take a picture.
