Recital 2013 is in the books, thank God! What a busy weekend that was and always is, I guess. It just added a new element having a 5 month old. True to my word from last year, I retired my stage mom status. Yes, this year I actually sat in the audience and watched the show, minus running down to make sure Sage was changed and okay. Sage's numbers were at the very beginning, middle and the end, so she saw very little of the show except at dress rehearsal. Thankfully, this year went MUCH better than last year, and she was actually able to dance! I reread that awful experience, and it was no less awful remembering it. So, anyway, this was Sage's first year of jazz, and she did a great job. It was a fast routine and a pretty grown up song, which I had neither like nor dislike for. It was just there. That could very well just be ME and not anything else though. Anyway, here are some pictures and I'll attach the video of dress rehearsal at the end.
She loved the ending because they all died. Yep.
