Our precious Jaggar turned FOUR this month, and I have a lot of pictures to share from that but not enough energy to do it tonight, so I wanted to post this one day. We celebrated him for a good week. I didn't do a huge party because I'm pretty tapped out on that this year, but we did do something he loved, which I'll get to eventually. Anyway, I have a soft spot for all of my kids, but there's something about that Jaggar. It could be a mother/son bond. Or it could be that face. I don't know, but I found myself wanting to give him all of his presents before his birthday, and I'm so not like that. But what I did for his birthday was actually a week before his actual birthday, and I didn't give him all of his presents on that day. I just gave one to show him that was the day we were celebrating him. But he was confused a bit and concerned that he really didn't seem to get many presents.
So, I don't know...I caved and gave him one little present in addition to the one present I'd already given him. Jaggar is crazy about the show on Disney called Octonauts. It's actually a show more geared towards boys (GASP), and he is obsessed with it. They just released a line of toys of them at Toys R Us, and he had two already....but he wanted all of them. What he wanted MOST was the "octonaut house" and a daily concern of his for months (since he saw it at Toys R Us) was how he was going to get it. He'd say he was saving his money for it, but then he'd be sad and say that he was never going to get it. It has been quite a problem for months. So anyway, on this day of one little present, he got another Octonaut. The first thing he said was, "How do I play with it? I don't have an octonaut house." :) But he did manage to play with it and couldn't wait to to tell Sage he'd gotten an early present.
Here's a video.
And here's that beautiful boy.
