Through the Night

See this sweet face?

Last week, just a few days after his 8 month birthday, this face was the face of a baby who had slept in his own bed THROUGH THE NIGHT.  I woke up almost in a panic because I had been so tired and never woke up ONCE from the time I'd laid down.  I hadn't done that in over 8 months!  Now, I've had to let some crying happen since I've been home from Kentucky, but I was very ready for this, as in Costner sleeping in HIS bed through the night, to happen.  And I wouldn't stretch it to say he's reaching for his bed and going down easily.  We've definitely even had some major backtracking since then--the night before last actually.  He was a newborn again and up every two hours, but I think that is due to teeth.
I hope so anyways.  I'm ready for sleeping to be the norm.  Costner is not in my bed anymore...WELL, He doesn't start off in there anyways.  He does end up here at some point, whether it's still in the middle of the night or early morning.  When we were in Kentucky, I knew I was ready for him to be in his bed.  He is way too mobile for mine.  This is also the reason I'm blogging somewhat more regularly...because I CAN without waking up the baby.
I hope this becomes a very normal pattern because I've tasted sweet sleep, and I don't want to go back and forth!
