Eating their snacks at the party. What a spread: chips, cheetos, cheese cubes, carrots, apples, oranges, candy canes, chocolate, Christmas tree brownies AND sugar cookies.
Sitting on the carpet ready to play games.

Sage's Kindergarten Christmas Party
Yesterday was a MUCH anticipated day for Sage: her class Christmas party! Their theme was "Twas the Day We Were Reading," so they got to bring their favorite books and read all day. Sage brought "The Nutcracker," a recent gift from Cara. She had been talking about it for about 2 weeks because not only did they get to have a Christmas party, but they got to wear their PAJAMAS to school. Mrs. Brooks also had a gift for each child, which was a bag FULL of goodies. Sage also had a gift for Mrs. Brooks. She was thrilled, so thrilled that she woke up at 6:15 that morning ready to go. Of course, she had to find Cara first, who was hanging upside down on our chandelier in yet another new dress. I volunteered to help with the party, so I got to attend and take some pics. Here's a few.

Right before we left, Mrs. Brooks got a Christmas hug from Sage. What a fun time. Glad I got to be a part of it. Sage said, "It was the best day ever!" And it was.
