Big Boy Alert: Teeth and Sitting Up

Newsflash:  it happened already.  Bleu Jack got his first tooth last Tuesday, a week and a half shy of being 7 months old (one of the bottom centers, of course).  Then on Wednesday, the 2nd bottom center tooth was through.  Travis said that they'd be coming through soon, but he said that 3 months ago, too.  But I did notice two swollen bumps on his gums a few days prior to their breakthrough.  Such a big boy.  AND this boy is also sitting up.  He's going to do everything at once, I just know it.

 Look at that precious angel.

These pictures were taken before I really sat him in the floor by himself.
This was the next day...

Bumbo baby

I had a bumbo seat with Jaggar, but I sold it.  I don't know why, other than it just didn't seem vital.  And they're not.  And the time you can use them before baby is flipping out of them is pretty short...but Costner is at a perfect age for it.  So Nichole let me borrow hers for Costner, and he is pretty sweet in it.  Although it is more difficult to get his foot in his mouth, he likes it.

He is also liking Sophie the giraffe a lot lately.  He is getting better and better at holding things and getting them in his mouth, and Sophie squeaks, which is an added bonus.

Sweet, precious boy

Learning to Sit

Last week, I decided to work with Costner on sitting.  Turns out, he really didn't need the work and practice as much as the opportunity because he sat up like he'd been doing it for...4 months.  He looked so cute and so big sitting alone, and he preferred it.  Because when I laid him down, he cried.

So sweet
I also realized I've got another busy boy on my hands because when he spotted the pile of neatly folded clothes beside him, he dove for them.
