I was in the labor and delivery room a long time. Thankfully, this time, they didn't yank out the epidural the moment Costner was born the way they did with Jaggar. When they push on your stomach to get as much out of you as they can, that's like the worst feeling ever, but I didn't feel it this time. Unfortunately though, it took many many hours for me to be able to move at all again. With Jaggar, I just hopped in a wheelchair and went to the maternity/postpartum ward. This time it was definitely in a bed. I had a lot of people waiting to see the star of the day when we did get to the room. The labor and delivery rooms are huge. The postpartum rooms are similar to my walk in closet. After getting all of our things moved there and getting situated, lots of people wanted to hold Costner Bleu.
Especially this girl. She's not proud or anything, is she?
Ha, look at Jaggar
All of these are mine!
Meagan and her kids
There it is!
Grandmother
Angelle (and Kirk) were there, too.
Everyone kept saying how awesome I looked, which is nice. But here I can see how awesome I FELT. I was so tired and hungry. And thirsty. I was so hungry that I ate the hospital food, which was not great. The juice was good though, which I inhaled.
I'd gotten the kids some big sister/big brother gifts that they opened once we got in the room, too. Sage just fell in love with this Christmas Target dog, so she got that and was thrilled.
And she got a Christmas mini lalaloopsy.
And Jaggar...
Truth be told, Jaggar loves lalaloopsy more than Sage. We have several of the mini ones, and he loves anything that he can hold in his hands. Travis is a bit mortified at this, but I don't care. They do make a few boy ones, so that's what he got. Look at his face. :) Not pictured is a Hermey bobblehead (from Rudolph, of course), which I'd had since summer for him for this very moment. He loved it.
All 3
So sweet

so you had a new baby.... who cares... what happened to you good looking friend Nick... how come you never post about him anymore... all your readers (well me and Bill) miss him....
I still fall for this every time thinking its who you posted as. My friend Nick. That's a great question. You know I had this baby and he didn't even come see him for weeks. And that's just because Travis needed help so it wasn't even to see the baby. I thought he was a friend but I don't know now. Ps I have more readers. You're just the only crazy that comments. I did laugh though.
