The menu was even made out just for him. :) I got the smoked gouda chicken. Yuuum.

Graduation Celebration
Mitch and his family hosted a special graduation dinner on Saturday night at Classic on Noble for close family and friends. Travis and I were honored to be a part of this special celebration. In case you didn't know, Mitch graduated from UAB's medical school yesterday. Yeah, KIND of a big deal. It was the last day before he would officially be an MD. I mean, other than that his initials are already MD. It was meant to be.
The cool kids' table. Mitch's aunt and cousins came in from California to be a part of the momentous occasion. It was their first visit to Alabama. His cousins are in this picture, Danica and Derrick. I was glad that after 25 years, I was able to tell Mitch that he'd been pronouncing Danica's name incorrectly. She said that she always thought it was his Southern accent that made him say it like that. Awesome moment for me, by the way. :)
My food. First time that I had quail eggs, by the way. I was a little nervous about it, but they tasted like regular eggs to me.
Then it was present time. Hopefully, Mitch has used one of these before, but if not, he's about to learn as he'll be moving to Knoxville very soon. Boo. :(
Mitch with his aunt and cousins. I knew that I liked Danica when I walked in and her dress was the exact pattern of a shirt that I have. Express shoppers unite!
