Surprise Elf Party

Our elves, Cara and Mickey, have only been here a few days, but they are in full swing for sure. Yesterday morning, they were in Sage's room like this. Mickey was hanging upside down, and Cara was beside a note that I couldn't read. Sage figured out that we needed to put it in the mirror. It said, "Hey, Sage and Jaggar, take us to Think Toys after school today." ???? So...we did, but we didn't know why.
When we arrived, there were tons of other kids--even some of our friends--that all had their elves with them. Jill and Cailin were there, too, and Cailin's elf had done the same thing with the backwards note telling them to come to Think Toys. But none of us knew why. We waited downstairs, until the owner excitedly told us that it was time to come upstairs. So...up the stairs we climbed to see...
THE head of the magic elves--Jingle (the girl) and Jangle. OMG! SUCH excitement. Jingle looks JUST like Cara, too!
See Jaggar? Hugging her legs? I could NOT get him off of them. There had to be 100 kids in that tiny room, and he just did NOT want to give anyone else a turn to love on them. I can't say that I blame him. They were SUPER cute.
:) Hugging on Jangle

Jaggar was in pretty much every child's picture. I kept pulling him away, but I couldn't keep up. He really wasn't doing any harm though. Everyone thought he was cute too. He was the youngest little elf fan there.
Jaggar backed up to them every time like this. :)
So sweet. Those elves are so silly. They did a lot of dancing. Click here to see.

So sweet
Look at Jaggar's face!!
My sweet friend, Jill, and her daughter, Cailin, with me, Sage and Jangle. Jaggar was probably somewhere with Jingle. He likes the ladies, you know.
Yep, told ya.

This was on the wall, too. They had the room decorated so pretty.
After a lot of dancing, playing, hugging, and eating snacks (they had a snowman cake, gingerbread cookies, popcorn, peppermints, hot chocolate, marshmallows and cider), it was time to read the elf magic story. And Jaggar instantly climbed into Jangle's lap to sit for the story. I didn't know if that would be okay since other kids would want to do it, even though he would've sat there all night, I moved him over with Sage. And he did this.
The elf was better, Mom.
Jo Ann, the owner of Think Toys (and possibly the sweetest lady alive), read the elf magic story. Those elves were SO silly while she read. You can watch that here.

Sage and Jaggar in the elf cut out.
And another great photo opp with the elves.

Isn't that precious? We are SO glad our elves invited us to this. The kids thought it was amazing. We bought Cara a pretty new dress while we were there, too. The Annison Star was also there and did a slide show of the party. You can see that here. Not sure what's up with the random pictures of me in there?? Anyway, SO fun. We had a blast meeting Jingle and Jangle and hope we can do it again next Christmas, too!
