Christmas with the Larkins

Yesterday, the kids and I drove to Birmingham to do Christmas with Chrissie and fam. Nothing like cutting it close, right? We hadn't been there in a while, and ALL of the kids were SO excited. I had a few errands to run that morning before we left, and Sage called me at least 2x to see where I was. We had a really nice time celebrating Christmas with them.

Look at Iris. She probably wants me to stop rubbing her belly. My kids have NEVER been remotely close to chunky, much less have anything like all of THIS. And for some reason, it's just not as cute when my own stomach looks like this. I think she's just beautiful, and her sweet personality is equally so.
Sweet Jaggar loving the moving, singing Santa hat. HE had such a great time. He was beside himself with excitement because he LOVES Holland. I need to make more of an effort to make it so he can play with other kids more often than just at church.
Sage and Isacah are BFFs. They are still playing with their American Girl dolls and both have asked Santa for Julie. I think that I should get Julie. After all, she's got my name and long blonde hair. AND if you remember, I tried to convince them to get her in JANUARY. But noooo.
Iris "opening" her gift.

Jaggar got a little circus play sand box. We've yet to open it because we got home late and because it's SAND, but I know he'll have fun with it.
I love Isacah's sweet spirit. Any gift that I've EVER gotten her has gotten that kind of reaction, and that's not to say that my gifts are all that exciting. She's just that grateful and excited about life. I think that I could have wrapped up a pack of gum, and she would've been like that. She said ***GASP****, "I've always wanted a POLLY POCKET!!!"

Harrison is so big now and got an itunes card...
and was thrilled about it.
Funniest picture ever. Holland liked her gift. AFTER she realized that THIS wasn't Santa's. She said, "I wanted a BIKE!" She thought she was DONE. After realizing he wasn't even scheduled to arrive yet, she was very pleased with a strawberry shortcake pool party set.
Sage's gift, and I love how excited Isacah is over it. Isacah picked it out. She just KNEW Sage would love it because she has lalaloopsy dolls, and Isacah thought this would look great in her room to match.
Another one...
I didn't take a pic of this open, but it's a crystal Rudolph that plays Rudolph when you wind it up. Jaggar loved that, of course.
Sage also got an outfit that fits her American Girl doll that we put on immediately. Super cute.
Sage's chair opened up

Look at those 2 cuties.
Sage with her chair in her room at home. We had a great time celebrating Christmas with our precious friends. Their friendship is a gift.
