I wanted to share a few more things our elves have done, particularly what happened this morning. Because it was amazing. First, right below was their first night here, I believe. December 1st was the next day, and the elves were so excited to begin the countdown to Christmas. We also have a countdown/advent type calendar in our kitchen, and they reminded the kids it was time to start that.
They had to climb up on the cabinets, too! You can click here to hear a little bit of what Jaggar thought about it...kind of. He was more into a sticker that was stuck to his high chair, but I tried.
Okay, so last night was our elf party and we went out to dinner after that. It had been an extremely long day, and I was exhausted and excited to sleep in on the one day of the week that we actually get to. But at 6:2o this morning, in a dead sleep, I feel taps from Sage. "MOMMY. MOMMY!...Do you know where your computer is?" Um what? I literally couldn't even open my eyes. I said, "It's on my chair where it stays." She said, "No....it's not!" Giggling. So when I could finally make myself get out of bed, I walked out of the room...and see my laptop by the front door with the light up Rudolph next to it turned on, and ELVES on my computer. It was on, too, and I always turn my laptop off. AND Mickey was covered in empty chocolate wrappers of mine. OMG. So, Sage just thinks this is AWESOME. I hit the button to wake the computer up....
And these were on the screen....JUST check this OUT. We were in AWE. Sage could not get over this.
Check out Sage's HERE.
And check out Jaggar's HERE.
Those elves are AWESOME to get Santa to send the kids their very own message. We can't get enough of watching them. I wish you could have seen their faces when Santa said their names (Every time that Santa said Jaggar's name, he said, "What?") AND pulled out their files with pictures of vacation, Sage's first day of 1st grade, and Jaggar's birthday.... Amazing.
