Aside from our Christmas party this evening, we had a pretty busy day running around trying to pick up some last minute gifts and pick up food items for Christmas Eve (reindeer feed, Jesus' birthday cake, etc). When Sage woke up, this is what the elves had done. Marshmallow snowmen. :)
Though not pictured, Jaggar loved this, too.
Sage took this herself, obviously.Looking disgusting in this picture, I'm reminded about what happened at Walmart. It never starts to rain until I get in my car. Without an umbrella. Most of my stops didn't require getting out...except Walmart. So I had to park like halfway down. It was pouring. My hair is literally sticking to my head, and I'm not even halfway to the door. The kids are soaked, and I hear this lady saying, "Hey!" An SUV was pulled up beside me and a girl was handing me an umbrella out of her rolled down window. I had JUST said that I was going to buy a small one for my car not even 5 seconds before. And here's this girl handing her's to me out of her car. She said, "Just keep it. I have small kids too, and I keep about 4 in my car." SO, whoever you are, thank you. You were one of the brightest points in my day with your small, yet huge act of kindness.
I've yet to post a picture of our tree! Our tree that has been up since right after Halloween. Where is the time going? I need to get out of the fog I feel like I'm in and take more pictures! Sage actually took this picture, and I was like, "Oooh, good job. It's pretty and the room almost looks...clean!"
