I try to make traditions for my kids on Christmas. I still remember the ones that I had growing up. One of the most important Christmas traditions that we have is that before the kids go to bed on Christmas Eve (tonight), Travis reads the Christmas Story from Luke 2. It's easy and understandable as a child to get caught up in Santa and the presents, and I'm all FOR that, but I want my kids to know why we get: and it's because He gave. He came as a precious baby to go through all that we would ever go through and to take back what we gave up in the beginning, to make us right again. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Sage is looking in her bible to find the story too.
Sweet moment.
Travis took this when he was finished reading. In one shot too. A Christmas miracle. Look at sweet Jaggar.
Sage is getting to be such a big girl. So pretty.
My boys.
