He's a Good Consolation Prize

For the first time the other day, Sage didn't get a sticker for good behavior in her folder. She got a "1," which was for not following directions. It took me a second to figure it out because she has NEVER not gotten a sticker. So, I had to ask her about it, and to be honest, I thought it was the dumbest thing. She and her friends were talking in the bathroom. That's it. That's what she did wrong. To me, that's perfectly fine, but apparently it's a rule at school to not do that. SO, I talked to her about it, and she got upset. I wanted her to be remorseful somewhat so that she knew to not make it a habit (not that I had a thought she would), but then she got upset. So then I had to bring it back around and say, "Look, I couldn't care less that you talked in the bathroom. You do GREAT all the time, and this was just one day. It's okay." She was crying, so Jaggar started crying because she was and climbed up on the couch beside her to console her. I thought it was so sweet and of course had to take a pic.

Sweet, precious faces
