Christmas Party

Every year at Christmas, Nick and Emily (though Nick will say that HE is the host) have their annual Christmas party with food, friends, and a round of Dirty Santa. As always, we had a wonderful time. At one point, Emily brought a broken ornament to me while laughing and said, "Jaggar's here!" ha, but of course. It was so nice to see some friends that I hadn't seen (some in a REALLY) long time.

Emily, Rhenda and me. I haven't seen Rhenda since Summer! My favorite thing about my friends is that I can go weeks or months without talking (hopefully not that long, but it does happen), but we pick right back up like we just saw each other the day before. That is such a great quality to have in a friend.I posted this for Rhenda, as she said that this picture was the best. I know Rhenda though, and she meant the best of her. ;)
And sweet Lori joined in for one. It was SO good to see her and Jonathan, our old Life group gang. It really had been a VERY long time since I'd seen them.
The little man was up WAY past his bedtime. He was nonstop too, as I previously mentioned the broken ornament.
Nick being Nick.
Emily and I are so much alike in that we love our kids to watch the classic Christmas cartoons. I love how she had Rudolph INSIDE. Had to get a pic of Sage by him.

She made sure to give me a sign to let everyone know that she had lost a tooth. Everyone was so proud of her.

Lori, who is the best baker in the world, made these red velvet brownies. Yeah, you heard it right. I promise you that since we stopped life group so many years ago, I'm like 15 lbs lighter. ;) Anyway, Jaggar was obsessed with them, and I think he had about 4. Plus lemon icebox pie, divinity...awesome. The brownies were by far his favorite, and he'd go to anyone that would get him closer to them and inevitably, give him one.
Emily's mom, Donna, who never ceases to make me laugh, and sweet Adalyn. Sage wanted to take Adalyn home with us.
Dirty Santa time, which really wasn't that dirty. I got exactly what I wanted: 4 Christmases, the movie, which I'll be previewing....when I get some time.
