When they opened it....it was SANTA! He said that he heard there were some really good boys and girls there that he should check up on. He wanted to check on his elves too. Those elves must have put the word in for these kids.
I love this picture. Look at those girls' faces. It was magical for them.
I think they were in a semi-state of shock. Harrison asked him where his sleigh was. He wanted to see it, but Santa told him that he ONLY rides his sleigh on Christmas Eve because it takes up so much energy that the reindeer couldn't make it if he did it other times, especially one week before Christmas.
Santa sat on the bench and look who came to see him. :)
Then he let each child come and sit on his lap so that we could all get a picture. And he wanted to check out their elves and see how they'd been doing.Harrison and Santa
