Mall Trick or Treating

Halloween was a success this year. We trick or treated 3 times and at two different malls. The kids are LOOVING all of the candy. Last night, Travis said to me, "Let's just keep eating candy until we get sick. I've never done that, and I want to see just how much it takes." :) I informed him that if I ate anymore candy that I'd be close to signing up for the biggest loser. But the kids got some good stuff! Here's some pictures from their mall trick or treating trips. On Sunday, we went to the outlets in Leeds. I'm glad that Mom and Mema were able to shop some because the trick or treating was lame. They got a lot of stickers. One place gave peppermints. Anyway, I got some cute pics of them outside the pretty fountain there.

Sage was a ladybug/lovebug, and Jaggar was a cow. Adorable, right?

Sage did choose this hat at the outlets, and doesn't it suit her? She's a girl after my own heart.

Dora and Deigo were there.
On Saturday, Travis had a tv shoot, so Mom. Mema, and I took the kids to the local mall to trick or treat. This was the first day that they wore their costumes, so Sage was excited. Jaggar...not so much. Notice Rudolph.
I saw this costume, and it had Sage written all over it. This girl managed to sneak those arm warmers by me and wore them to church on Sunday, too. That looked amazing, let me tell ya.

At the mall and ready to trick or treat. He's not so sure about that costume.

It was beyond adorable to hear Jaggar say, "TRICK OR TREAT! SANK YOU!" to the people handing out candy. He really got it this year. Sage is a pro.
When we'd visited all of the participating stores, we looked at the Christmas decorations that are rapidly making their appearance (YAY!). Sage wanted their pic made by this pretty tree.
They also had face painting and a bounce house in the mall. Both were free, and because of that, the bounce house was INSANE, so we passed on that. Jaggar was NOT happy about that. He is saying here, "I gotta go jump!"
When the girl painted his face, he said, "I want yellow." So she painted his hands.
Sage and Nonni made a really cute picture frame at the craft table. Other than being very crowded and stores running out of candy in the first 30 minutes (thankfully, we got there right when it started), the kids had a fun time and so did we.
Yes, I did park here. No, it was not a legal park for me. However, I will say that it's a LOT easier to get in the mall with A). A child that is in your womb or B). A child that is strapped into his/her infant carrier, out cold, for the entire duration of the visit. It's so much easier to do that than with a child that is looking for any split second opportunity to bolt. I'm making a suggestion to make a parking sign for...well, just me. :)
