It's that TIME!

Halloween is over, and you know what that means? CHRISTMASTIME! Well, it is to my kids. We LOVE all things Christmas: cookies, movies, music, lights, decorations and TREES. I wasn't quite ready to put our tree up, but we have the kids' trees for their rooms that are an easy task to knock out with big rewards--their excitment. Sage, in particular, was so excited. We did buy Jaggar a tree for his room after Christmas last year, so this would be his first year with one. It could've gone either way, but so far he's done pretty well! Travis had to work on Saturday, but he graciously put the kids' trees up before he left.

Working on Jaggar's tree

Here's the beginnings of putting their trees up. Never a dull moment here, I tell ya.

Travis and I thought we bought lights for Jaggar's tree...until we realized it was pre-lit. Well, it's been an ongoing debate in our marriage that COLORED lights are way better than white. I see white lights everyday. I need some color to feel Christmas-y. Well, at the end of this video, watch Jaggar look at his tree but then run into Sage's room. When he comes out, he says, "It's wights. Colored wights." HA. Out of the mouths of babes. So we did put some blue lights around his, too, which he calls green.

Sage's pretty tree. Love her pink lights.
Decorating
Accessorizing while decorating.
We actually waited until Sunday to put Jaggar's ornaments on because it was worth it to me to buy hooks rather than climb up in the attic.
See how happy they are? Nothing like sitting by the light of the Christmas tree!

Showing off her tree with her new toothless smile. I think both trees turned out beautifully.
