Snow Day(s)!

Well, the forecasters said the word "snow," and every grocery store in town became worse than any store during the weeks before Christmas. But they seemed pretty sure of themselves, and it did happen. We were supposed to get an estimated 3-7," which seemed pretty far-fetched to me, but there's "the snow of '93" that won't let anyone here dismiss anything. On Sunday evening, it started to sleet and then some of the biggest flakes that I've ever seen started falling. It was beautiful. I just love to see the snow fall, and I'd just said a few days before that I'd like some more. I was also having a really hard time starting back to everything last week, so this made them call off school Monday afternoon and today (Tuesday). I have really enjoyed this now 4-day weekend without sickness. We've had more ice than snow (which totaled about 3 inches), but we were able to make some snow cream, which both kids refused to even try. Jaggar said, "NO! NO! NO!"

Here's some pictures of our few minutes outside in it. Like I said, it was more icy than anything, so it really wasn't as enjoyable to be in as it was to look at....at least for Jaggar and me. :)Travis is always the fun one. He made this with Sage. So cute.
Jaggar wasn't too sure about walking in it. I wasn't either after I almost fell on the icy driveway.
The best result of a few attempts. I was freezing.
Jaggar is trying to take his clothes off.
Their snowman....
Which wasn't as large as it seemed, but I also have another in my freezer. Sage says that we're keeping it there until Christmas. We shall see.
