Because Jaggar isn't the most verbal child in the world, I sometimes forget that he's just shy of being 20 months old, and he still very much understands EVERYTHING that is said. He would just rather scream and point to something instead of saying, "milk," for example. When we were at the Larkin house for the elf party, Sean fixed the kids spaghetti that night and plopped Jaggar right in the middle of the bigger kids with a bowl and spoon. I said, "No, he doesn't really...." as Jaggar picked up the spoon and began using it quite well! I had forgotten about that night, but last night I gave him his own plate and spoon, and he hadn't forgotten. He picked it up and did great with it trying to eat EVERYTHING, including corn on the cob and a chicken finger, with it. He's growing into a little boy instead of a baby boy. Oh, and he didn't mind that the spoon was princess. :)
