Happy New Year! I really can't believe that another year has gone by! This morning I told Travis, "Oh my gosh...Jaggar is going to be 2 in a little less than 5 months!" Then it was, "But Sage is going to be SIX in 19 days!" I'm feeling like I just might be ready to join the land of the living again health-wise! And Jaggar is too! I'm positive that he had the flu as well this week. Sage and I even went to see Tangled this evening, and it was super cute. Something to keep in mind about New Year's: I know that everyone feels this "fresh start," and I suppose it is. But know that each DAY is new, and you can choose for every morning to be your January 1st. Because it is.

There's nothing magical about this day. There IS something magical about every day. :) Just a thought. I've seen a lot of people posting about (and I see this EVERY New Year's) being "Soooo ready to close 2010 (or whatever year it is at the time)," but I thought 2010 was pretty great. Yes, there were some very tough moments, but there were also some pretty great ones. Jaggar went from a little baby into a running, busy little boy. Sage went from a 3 day a week preschooler to a full time kindergartner. And this year will bring many changes for them too. So, go ahead, make goals/resolutions/whatever you want to call them, but don't let them break you. Make the most of each day because that day is all you have.
