I'm trying to catch up on this before Christmas. So I wanted to start on the evening that we went to the hospital to have the baby. Mom wanted to give the kids their Christmas presents. I wasn't busy with a newborn or sleep deprived yet, so it was a nice moment to do it. Unfortunately Travis' camera battery died pretty much as soon as we got started
I did, however, get a lot of video. I was anxious and nervous about the night and also in much discomfort thanks to my doctor visit earlier that day. More on that later. I do have a few pictures that may or may not ever make it here, but for now, here is the video of their gift opening time. Here is Jaggar opening his big gift.
He also got a Rudolph stick horse from Mema. You can watch that here. We officially have more Rudolph stuff than any other person on the entire planet.
Even though the tool bench was his big present, this was by far Jaggar's most favorite thing. I don't know that Santa can even top it. You know how he is about things he can set up everywhere. We set up zoos daily. You can see it here.
Last but not least was Sage. I didn't get video of it, but she got two mini American Girl dolls. I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but she's been so torn about what to ask Santa for for Christmas. She's been working so hard to save her money for McKenna, who is the girl of the year for this year. She's also only available this year. She's also been backordered and is now sold out for weeks now. Here is Sage's big present from Nonni. I realize I made her twist and turn and stop a million times before, but I knew the reaction would be what it was, and I didn't want to miss that. We ordered her in October, and for months, I've watched Sage worry about what she was going to do. Her problem was instantly solved. The kids really loved their presents, and most of what they got came to the hospital with them the next day, including Jaggar's entire zoo. :)
