Singing and Cake

As the kids were finishing up their painting (with the exception of Sage), we put SEVEN candles on the cake. I really struggled...not emotionally (though I do have issues ;), but mentally remembering to put seven candles on there. I just have it in my brain that there should be six.
Getting ready!
Do you remember that face that Jaggar had at his birthday when we sang to him? Well, he's definitely over that. He thought that this was all for him.
She, on the other hand, still gets shy about it.

Blowing them all out
But there was one stubborn candle, so guess who chimed in to help?
And he got it, too. You can watch us sing to her here. Apologies for my terrible, loud singing. I'm always pretty loud just not always terrible.

Some were going over last minute painting details.
And Sage immediately got that crown off of the cake and onto her head.
Sweet friends
Servant serving (PS: not only was the walmart cake cute, but it was also really really good.)
Amber is so cute.
I think he had like 3 pieces of cake.
Travis' dad
Sneaking seconds or thirds
I looked back through these and thought it was so appropriate that Nick would be brown nosing my family. He's like that.
Eletha, Travis' mom, or Grandmother, as we call her
Mema
Meagan and Jaggar's expressions both look pretty disgusted.
Alex and Jill
And the birthday girl enjoying her cake...and painting, still.
