Pumpkin Patch

Our church has a pumpkin patch this year, and on Friday we decided we'd take the kids to check it out. All of the proceeds to go missions, so it was definitely something we wanted to support. They had received 4000 pumpkins, so needless to say, we spent some TIME there looking for just the right one.
When I say "we" spent some time, I mean Sage. Jaggar walked in and instantly picked up what he wanted. He was thrilled with the smaller sized pumpkins.
You can't really tell from this picture, but some of their pumpkins were so big that I couldn't pick them up. Not that that's saying a LOT, but they were big. I've never personally seen some of the sizes that I saw there. I don't know what you'd carve them with. A chainsaw?
He was content to sit with his pumpkins. He also found a rock: double bonus. He is showing me his rock here.

Always fun. Look at Jaggar.

How cute is he? Not long after we got there, a girl from Sage's school came in with her baby sister. At one point, Jaggar kept following them and saying, "I gotta go with the gurls."

He cannot stand for his hands to be dirty.
When we first got there, the face painter and person that drove the hayride weren't back yet. But, Sage took so long in choosing a pumpkin (which I have no pic of in this--another post) that both were there by the time we checked out. Here's Sage getting her face painted.
Those are her football tattoos. Every Friday at school is tattoo day, and she ALWAYS chooses those. They are REALLY fun to get off, too, let me tell ya. She gets them off on her own, so I can't complain about it really. It doesn't hurt anything, and it makes her happy, so I'm for it.

She loves butterflies and generally chooses one when she has a face painting choice.
Then it was his turn. And what do you think he wanted? A butterfly. Ha! The girl said, "How about a football?" She asked him what his name was and it was so funny to hear him say, "Jaggar!" She said, "Do you know there's a song about you?" (Moves like Jaggar, of course.)
I think that this picture is so funny. I can just hear him say, 'What are you doooing?" by his expression. He was very curious and also asked for her to paint his toes. :)
He got a pumpkin on one side and a football on the other. We rode the hayride, but I have no pictures of that because I was talking, but we had a fun time.
