Museum Fun

Even though we've pretty much been lazy bums all week, the kids and I did go to the museum on Thursday. I have to say that it has been wonderful being lazy. I felt no need to go anywhere, even though my refrigerator and pantry said otherwise. We did have fun at the museum though. We hadn't been since the summer, and Jaggar was so excited to see the dinosaurs. Of all the things, as soon as we got there, they told us that they were currently remodeling the dinosaur hall. Fantastic. Of course you are. He didn't freak out, though he did mention it. More than a few times. I tried to distract him with other things.

Like this reindeer! Rudolph is still HUGE in our house. Of course, to him, it didn't look anything like Rudolph but whatever.
Trying to find the frogs
This tree reminded me of the Lion King.
This is grainy and blurry, but Jaggar is cracking me up. He starts acting crazy when he sees himself in the screen, and it's hilarious.
Sage wanted to "be funny." Apparently, pretending to strangle brother was her route. Nice.
Sage is pretending to kiss....that.

They're just so cute!
Jaggar said, "I give fish a hug! I give it a kiss." And that's what he's doing here.
Digging for fossils.
I always wanted a kiss on a bridge.
Sage pointed this out: that they put the halloween bucket in the raccoon's hands.
We had to backtrack all the way we had just come to get out because of the dinosaur section being blocked off. As soon as we got to the front, Jaggar started on seeing dinosaurs again. I looked in the lobby and saw this: an employee holding a possum like a baby. EEEEEK. My kids loved it. I said, 'Is that like your pet?" Nope. She explained that he belonged to the museum, and he is VERY docile. He thinks he's a human. He loves to be touched. Yeeeah...until he remembers he's a beast and claws your face. I didn't say that though. I did say, "I don't think I've ever seen one other than on the side of the road!" True?
I've always wanted a picture of them by the water because it's so pretty outside. It's not the greatest, but it IS a picture of them by the water, and Jaggar isn't IN the water, so that's a success. I definitely took a risk in taking it. I asked Sage to hang onto him, but apparently she was more into posing. Love my kids!
