A Classic Birthday

Since my birthday is on Sunday this year, I had planned weeks ago where I wanted to go: CLASSIC ON NOBLE. Oh yeah. We were so excited to share this with Mema for the the first time, too. It's funny, I told Travis when he was talking about buying my gifts (which, again, I'm VERY pleased with this year), he said, "I hate when you all come back from Birmingham because you've bought what I got." I said, "Travis, you did GREAT. I really just like: clothes, shoes, jewelry...and food, sweets particularly. I cannot have enough of any of that." Well, that would be false. I've had more than my fair share of food today, but it was worth it. Here's some pictures of our wonderful time at lunch.

So sweet.
If they would let me stay here, I would. The older hostess said I could when I asked. :)
I hate that this is blurry because look at him.

Mom and Mema wanted me to take this and send it to Linda because she, too, loves this place. Good friends, aren't they? Eveything is better when you can hold it over your friends' heads.
This is my plate--one of them. Sigh...I should be ashamed. I wanted to eat everything, but I got so full so fast. I HATE that. Bottom left corner, hands down, best thing: grits!! There is so much goodness in those that they should be illegal.
This is my dessert plate. :) When I went to make my choice(s), there was no one lined up at the long table, which is a miracle. So I stalked from one of the table to the other several times like a lion on the hunt until I decided what I wanted. I didn't eat it all. I really just wanted a taste of it all, but the chocolate cake and apple pie were insane.
Jaggar had NO problem figuring out which dessert he wanted.
This is me telling my story of the ca-ra-zy looking "guy" working at the MAC counter yesterday wearing his dress and RED contacts. Scary!!
So glad she is here!
And her, too!
Family photo attempt take ONE
Take 2
And 3 (Note 2 things: One--Sage's front tooth is hanging by a thread. It is completely useless as a front tooth right now, but she's refusing to pull it out. So she does that with her tongue to move the tooth. Two--out of all 3 takes, who is ready in all of them? Yep.)
This is EVERY time we use the front facing camera. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Gotta love it.
Ilovehim. Ilovehim. Ilovehim.
My beautiful girl by my favorite part of Classic. I will say that I didn't have it this time though. It's so messy that I pretty much embarrass myself trying to eat anything from it every time. Gasp--I AM older!
We sat right by the piano player, and she did play the happy birthday song for me. It was so much better than being surrounded by a crowd of servers singing and clapping. It was sweet.
All of us and MOST of Jaggar
HERE we are. A rare sight: the two of us in a picture. Sure do love him.
The girls in front of the beautiful flowers up front
And walking out. I had an absolutely wonderful time here! Best place ever to eat!!
