In the Garden

This past weekend, we took a whirlwind trip to Kentucky. We went for our annual state fair trip, but of course, we visited with Mema. She has an amazing garden that puts ours to shame. She had been saving the cherry tomatoes for Sage to come and pick with her. She was so excited. Jaggar got in on the action, too, by picking any and everything he saw--red tomatoes, green tomatoes, leaves...
Sweet
Isn't she cute? She will be 80 in just 3 days!
Beautiful boy
Precious moments

The advice of, "Stop taking yourself so seriously," will probably never apply to me.

Sir Duke
She's definitely my child.

Love this one.

Jaggar did not leave Duke alone for the entire time we were there. He hugged him, kissed him, and tried to ride him. I'm surprised Duke didn't have a heart attack.
THIS is my favorite.
Mema cooked some amazing food while we were there, particularly some brownies that I'm almost positive I'm still wearing. We sure were glad to see her.
