Since this is Mema's and Kevin's first time here, we wanted to visit some of our favorite places to show them: Seaside and Rosemary Beach. We are literally walking distance (or bike riding) from Seaside. Everyone here is on a bike, and I considered it for about 30 seconds before I remembered who I really was. The idea looks fun, but I prefer my air conditioned SUV. I don't remember which day it was exactly, but here are pictures of when we went to Seaside.
I really love this town. Everything is all together, and it's clean and reminds me of something out of a story book.

Jaggar is like a little vampire in that he SCREAMS when the sun is in his eyes. It was bright and hot that day, and whenever we left a shadow, he had a meltdown. We promised him an snow cone, and that helped. I don't know what it is, but there is a shaved ice truck in Seaside that is the best I've ever had.
Sage in front of what I think is a church in the back of Seaside. Either way, I liked the look of it and thought it'd be a perfect place to get married.
After we ate the shaved ice and fish tacos (in that order), we took the kids to their favorite: Bud's playhouse. I was really surprised (but glad) that no one else was there. They would play in this thing all day. Jaggar did manage to throw Sage's shoes out the back window and onto the beach behind it.
We always take a picture in this right by the fish taco place. If you look closely, you can see Travis as the chihuahua in the bottom. I knew he was there and still didn't see him until I uploaded it to the computer.
Another day, we had lunch at Stinky's Fish Camp. This place was wonderful. Their gumbo was some of the best I've ever had, and I didn't leave a drop. Most days, I've let (made) the kids take naps in the mornings before we've done anything, but this day, I didn't. Jaggar fell asleep in the car, and he was so tired that he never woke up when Travis got him out. He slept through the entire meal! He hasn't done that since infancy!
It reminds me of an old time candy store like I see in Little House on the Prairie where you can buy individual gumballs.
Sage, in keeping with tradition, chose this sucker that she licked the color off the tiniest top portion before she asked to throw it away. :)
The fountain that Jaggar wanted to get in. We don't have our arms around him just because we love him.
A group shot minus our photographer, Travis (Kevin did homework instead of coming to Rosemary Beach)
