My kids really have one favorite thing here: the pool, or as Jaggar calls it, "the big boy pool." All day long he says, "I need to get in that big boy pool." (He pretty much hates the beach, still.) And I really think that he would stay in it all day long if we'd let him. We've spent a very good amount of time in it. So much so, that by 8pm, I am struggling to stay awake. It's pretty sad. I blame that on pregnancy. Anyway, since it's literally right out our back door, I don't have a problem letting them spend a LOT of time in it.
This is right off of our patio. The pool is great because the majority of it is 3-4 feet deep. There is one part that is 5 feet, but that's as deep as it gets, and I like that.

Jaggar started off really cautious. He has a new life jacket, and it took him some time to realize he can float. He CAN still go under (his mouth and ears), so I want him to be somewhat afraid, but he freaked if I took him away from the steps at all. That was the first day. At this time, we would like him to go back to being cautious but I don't think it's going to happen. He is MUCH braver.
And then there's this one. I actually really impressed myself with this picture. I took it with my phone, and I couldn't even see when I took it.
