Sage's Summa Time 'Do

Sage surprised me when she said last week that she wanted to get her hair cut off. I just thought that she wanted her hair long. She loves pony tails, and she seemed proud of how much her hair had grown throughout the year. And it really had grown so much. But when she said that she wanted it done, she didn't hesitate. She wanted it done yesterday, and I had no problems with this. I LOVE her hair shorter. This kid has a LOT of hair. I can dry her hair for 20 minutes, and it's still soaked underneath. Her appointment was for Tuesday, but when we got there, Kerry's son had gotten sick, so she left a note saying we could come in anytime on Wednesday. Sage was SO disappointed, but I assured her that it was just one more day--less than 24 hours.

Here is a before shot.
Kerry asked her, "Are you SURE??!" Sage was more than sure. She's like me in that she has zero emotional attachment to her hair and doesn't think twice about changing it. I'm so glad.

Here is the after shot. Sage has the best hair for this cut: so thick and full. Wish I had some of that volume in my hair.

Here is a front and back shot. She has not stopped twirling around and looking at herself in the mirror. If you see her, make sure to praise her for it because she's waiting on that. haha. And I'm serious.
