Blackberries

It's really a good thing that we did the blueberries first because the kids' interest was waning. After all, there was a swingset and a trampoline up by the barn. So we all started to pick blackberries and the adults finished it, but it didn't take nearly as long. There were rows and ROWS of blackberries, and just like before, the lady told us that we needed to try them because they all had a different taste. THANKFULLY, the other guest that was there told us that row 9 had very sweet berries. Saved me a LOT of time. Travis insisted on trying other rows (shocking, I know), but row 9 was the best. I don't like bitter.

Heading up to the blackberries
I was like, "Are these raspberries too?" But no...those just weren't ripe.

The bad part about this area and the raspberries was that there were a LOT of bugs here. Jill provided mass entertainment as she'd scream whenever a noisy beetle flew at her. It was awesome.

At this point, we were ready to get it done.
I don't think I've ever seen blackberries that big. They were SO good, too.
So serious
He was done. The girls had gone back up to the barn, and he did not like being left alone.
See the look of disgust?

Jill making sure no bugs are out to get her. At one point, she screamed so loud that Jaggar freaked out and started crying. She said, "Jaggar! WOOOO! Look at this berry! Look how big it is!" It was hilarious.

Pretty
The girls walking back
I was probably eying a bug. Not sure why I look so disgusted.
Jaggar and a tractor
Travis had to get a picture of me on a farm. It could be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
