Sage's Dance Pictures

Sage's dance pictures came in this week, and I wanted to post them. They turned out beautifully. I never have to worry about her being photogenic. She's pretty perfect in front of the camera. I couldn't help but notice how grown up she's getting. I can see the years of dance (4 now) starting to form and sculpt her, and it's really awesome. There are a lot of girls in dance at Sage's age that will go on to other things, but I think Sage has a long future in it. I'm not saying it because she's mine. Other people say it--that her body is made for it...and it is. She has a dancer's body, even at 7. I'm sure she gets that from me. ;) Kidding, but I will say when I first came to Word Alive and "auditioned to sing" (yes, someone made me do that), I was asked if I was a dancer "because I had a dancer's body." Ha. Looks can be deceiving. Anyway, to see how much she's grown, look at her first year here compared to now.

Ballet: this is the one that made me think how grown up she looked. So poised.

And her first year of hip hop. :) This is her 4th year of tap and ballet, and they had to be 7 to take hip hop. Can't wait for the recital next month.
