This will be the final lot of camping pictures. I know that the kids had a wonderful time just by looking at these. I know that it probably wasn't relaxing for Travis to do all of this. Actually, I'm pretty positive it wasn't, but I personally appreciated it SO much. I haven't been alone in...I don't even remember. I slept until 8:15 the next morning, and THAT in itself was worth it all. It was amazing. I went to the store by myself. I watched TV and movies that weren't rated G or in cartoon. So, it was such a nice break for me. Travis didn't bring them home until about 4 the next afternoon. They put on a puppet show at 2 that he took them to as well.
The kids each got a pair of binoculars that Travis so smartly printed their names on. They still fight over which pair belongs to who. I think this is cute with Jaggar looking through his.
I jokingly told Travis that they should have stayed another night. Jaggar could not have lasted. This is normal--him falling asleep in the car. It's when Travis got him OUT that we realized just how worn out he really was.
When the day was done, I thanked Travis for taking them even though I know it wasn't relaxing for him. He said, "It was fun. I got to be dad." And a good one, at that.
