Halloween this year was, of course, really fun and really busy. Our church did their annual Hope Harvest with lots of fattening, yummy food and rides. Since Sage goes to the school at Word Alive, the carnival was open to them at 2 before the public, so that's when we went. She rode a very big, very fast ferris wheel that turns your stomach on the way down and loved it. Actually, she rode everything there that she could ride. She got even got a pumpkin painted on her face. The day before Halloween she had a Fall Festival at school that was SOOO cute with lots of games and candy. She got balloons painted on her face and won the cookie walk, but my camera is unfortunately broken, so I don't have pictures of that. We stayed at Hope Harvest for a little over 2 hours and then came home to trick-or-treat. I loved Sage's bee costume so much last year and paid a pretty price for it, so we used it again this year. She didn't care...well at times she did. She said she wanted to be a donkey, but in the end, she really didn't care. Either way, she is still adorable.
I don't think she was really in the mood for pictures.
But she got in the mood...
once she started modeling.
I think she was ready to go.
Our first house, and magially her vocabulary didn't allow her to say "trick or treat."
Our 2nd house. She apparently dropped her "wand," which is a bobby pin with a star on it, but she wouldn't tell us until we got off the porch. Once we found it, she stopped crying.
Sage loves these pumpkins.
Once we got home (my mom had been passing out candy), Sage and Daddy sat outside and waited for more trick-or-treaters. I think Sage enjoys this part more than trick-or-treating.
I thought this was cute.
Showing off her candy
She got a TON! We walked over a mile, I'm sure.
