A few weeks ago, Sage found a picture of herself when she was smaller with her short little bob haircut. She said that she wanted her hair cut like that again. I was like, "Really?" Yes. So weeks went by, and she continually said she wanted her hair cut SHORT. I was MORE than okay with it. It takes a good 15-20 minutes to dry her hair, but we had dance recital that had a bun required hair 'do. So I told her that as soon as recital was over, we'd make an appointment. I did what I said I'd do, and she was MORE than excited.
Here's the before shot this past Friday at the salon. We decided to go with something like this, only a little more child friendly without the funky bangs. Sage was more than okay with this because this girl is on Disney.

Kerry, who also cuts and colors my hair, asked her, "ARE YOU SURE?" Because she never wants to do anything drastic if someone isn't sure, but Sage couldn't have cared less. Her only concern was that it wouldn't be short enough.
Some of Sage's hair--she cut off a LOT. It didn't bother either one of us. Kerry checked to make sure, but we were all SO happy with the final outcome. Best money I've spent in a WHILE.
Tah-dah! Isn't she beautiful???! She is SO proud of it!! I mean, I wish I could illustrate how proud of it that she is. She loves that everyone says that it makes her look older, and she cannot wait to go back to school to show everyone. I love the look and the time that it takes me to wash and dry it, which is NO time.
The stacked out back: LOVE. Kerry told her that this haircut was made for her hair because she did NOTHING to it and it looked that good. She also said that she was going to be a trendsetter. ;)
