A Sweet Surprise

This morning, I was talking to a friend that I went to college with when a white van pulled up in my driveway. My first reaction was, "Great, now what?" because these days, when people come to your door, it's usually not to say hey. I then thought that the van was just turning around, but a few seconds later, a man got out of the van with a bundle of balloons.

I went to the door where this man handed me these balloons attached to a stuffed puppy dog with a card that said "Jaggar Spence." Inside it said, "We love you, Kent and Bev and the Word Alive Family." How sweet! Tons of "Get Well Soon" balloons and smileys with band-aids followed us to the family room. They sent them for his surgery. What a sweet gesture and surprise for my sweet ELEVEN month old (today) boy! There's a lot of pics here to just be balloons, but I can't help cracking up at him with them. He's had a BLAST.

At first, he wasn't sure what to think. Then he realized that he could pull the strings and the balloons would bounce off of each other and HIM and make lots of noise.

So cute

This is what it looks like most of the time.

My favorite
