On the Mend

You can tell my little man is feeling SO much better in just a week after his surgery. Sweet baby. He's been through so much. Yesterday morning, he was trying his best to get on top of the table that Sage was sitting at. I was vacuuming, and when I came back in, she had helped him to sit next to her on the bench. Look how happy he was. When I held my hands out to pick him up, he pushed them away. He was so proud and excited to be sitting next to her and did NOT want to get up. I thanked Sage for being such a good big sister and for making him feel so special.Look how great his ear is looking!
And he's as busy as ever. He remembers where the stairs are now. He will start from the other end of the house and go straight to them.
He took some time to look at me through the banister.
