I know that I said that you may never see the pictures from the museum, but when I looked through them they were just too cute to pass by. It was a really great memory to have. That whole day was great, minus my discomfort (which I'll have to explain/apologize for later hahaha), but I don't look back on it thinking about that. It was our last day with just our girl, and she and WE had a great day.
This is outside the museum. It was so pretty up there. This was in the live animal house. Travis went to school with the guy that worked there, so we got a sneak peak back there that most people wouldn't normally get to have. He let us see and touch (if we were willing) snakes, doves, owls, crocodiles...I passed on most but the furry things. Actually I DID touch a snake, but it's because Sage wanted me to "touch it with her." This is a chinchilla. He was so cute.
Travis AKA "the crocodile hunter." There was a huge crocodile in there too that wasn't up for touching. But the guy that worked there picked it up, and it was thrashing and hissing. Kind of scary.
I'm not a snake lover. If I see one in my yard, I'm not going to be that person to analyze if it's poisonous before I make Travis kill it. They all need to die, but I will say that this one in the picture was pretty.
This was in the museum. This has to be one of my most favorite pictures. LOOK at her expression! Happiness is being in a kid-sized cave!
So cute.
She is a daddy's girl.
Okay, this has to win some kind of award. It is one of the funniest pictures I've ever seen. LOOK at Sage...hahahhaa. What is so great is that no one said, "Okay, look scared!" We just all did it, and I didn't even know Sage did until I looked at it. She will win an academy award one day. I just know it.
Taking it all in. So sweet.
Ha
Okay, here's evidence of my discomfort and the fact it was the last day of my pregnancy. My back hurt, okay?! And I didn't care one bit that my shirt was too short. I walked around like that all day in public, and it was okay with me.
For Sage this part was exciting because it was ASLAN. (we love narnia.) I was so impressed with this place. I was expecting it to be lame--the museum. This was my first trip here in 8 years of living in Alabama. I'm glad we went on that day too. GREAT memory.
Sage and Nonni and a triceratops?
Our last family of 3 photo...awww!
