Here's some pictures of the days following Jaggar's birth in the hospital: some of him, some of us, and some of his visitors.
I WISH I'd taken a picture of the room where we stayed. One of my friends that works at the hospital said, "How did you get in here? I've only seen one guy and his wife get in here, and he works here." I'm VIP, what can I say? It was through a set of doors completely separated from all the other rooms. It was nice. This one of me is right when they put me in the room right after delivery. I think this sums up how I felt at the time, and I could barely keep my eyes open. Motrin doesn't really do a whole lot in that moment. If you could only see my hair in the back. I didn't realize how terrible it was. Travis said it looked like birds tried to build a nest in my hair. It took forever to get all the knots out.
I meant to put this one up in the birth blog because this is in the labor/delivery room. That's Isacah, Sage and Harrison looking at the scenery outside.
So tiny. Wrapped around his ankle is an alarm so no one could take him. I appreciate that.
Chrissie and Jaggar
SWEET Boy
Big sister. Actually before they came up here this day, my mom said to Sage, "You're a big sister now!" She said, "No I'm not. Do I look big to you? I'm supposed to be bigger." Apparently, all this time of people telling her she was going to be a big sister made her think she'd physically grow. She was a bit disappointed in that, but she does love her brother.
Beverly, Lori and Elizabeth posing Jaggar for a picture. I don't know why I looked that way, other than I was still in pain! I really was happy.
Emily, Sage and Jaggar, though you can't see him.
Dr Dizon, my friend
Daddy and son, at last
Rhenda and baby Parker. It seems like I was JUST here visiting THEM. Time flies. :(
Checking him out
Nonni and TWO grandkids.
Yee-haw. Chrissie brought this hat. Isn't that hilarious?
That is Sage's hospital picture. Can you see who he looks like now?
Love
Ha
Renea and I. That balloon is STILL up in the air being pulled all over the house by Sage. Thanks for that.
Angelle
Too many pictures in a day.
