Easter Laughs

This happened Easter evening.  This boy is ticklish, and his laugh is awesome.

Easter Fun

Finally some Easter pics.  Easter is weird for me because I normally have to be at church so early that I don't even enjoy the parts that I normally would with my kids.  We are rushed, and by the time church is over, I'm exhausted.  SO, as always, we do the fun kid parts on Saturday, but I'm pretty sure those pictures are on Travis' camera.  I hate myself for not videoing Jaggar when he saw his basket.  No child ever loved toys like he did, and he literally jumped up and down screaming when he saw Buzz Light Year.  It was SO funny.  And he thought that was such a great deal that he was all ready for the bunny to come BACK on Sunday.  He left his basket out again.  Of course he did.

We dyed some eggs on Saturday, which they loved...I did not.  I don't like stains, but I loved it when I was a kid, so I let them love it too.  Sometimes, I just have to walk away.
I didn't take many pictures because I was trying to keep from wearing that dye.
Someone else didn't enjoy it either.  Notice his egg.
Always the creative one.  He left this outside, it rained, and every bit of it came out.  So maybe I don't have to be so paranoid about the dye.
 Easter morning, my handsome boy
 And my pretty girl
I bought their outfits all separately, and I wish I'd known the boys would have coordinated, and I would've looked for a yellow dress for Sage.  Oh, well, we were just glad to be dressed and out the door on time.
Me and Steve's Easter outfits.  This was another bummer.  Families all look so nice, and it's jeans and Thrive t-shirt for us.  Call me petty...but I would have liked to have worn a pretty dress.
So I just took pictures of my pretty family minus me.  I thought about going upstairs and putting a dress on just for a picture, but...I was too tired to care.
 Oh, Jaggar
 Bleu

 The boys
 :)
I love this picture so much of Costner Bleu Jack.  Look at those legs!!  He is the most delicious boy ever made.

I think Jaggar could be a model...I mean, seriously.
 Such pretty kids
The weather turned out to be a nice day.  We had a nice lunch at Fuji and hunted eggs after naps.  I'll "try" to get the pics off of Travis' camera.

The Bunny

My kids LOVE characters.  Jaggar, particularly, is obsessed with them, so when I told them I'd take them to the mall last week to see the Easter Bunny, they were so excited.  I'm not going to lie, and I've probably said it before, but I think the Easter Bunny is weird.  Love Santa.  A 6 foot silent bunny?  Creepy.  But they love him, and Sage has kind of adopted the idea about him herself, so I don't say anything to discourage it.  It was Friday, and I figured there would be a crowd, but there was none at all.  And this Bunny was more than happy to see them.  I have to give him props.  This was by far the most entertaining rabbit I've ever seen.  I got the kids food and purposefully sat right across from his house so Jaggar would sit and eat.  The bunny was standing on top of his chair.  He was dancing.  Waving.  Playing basketball with trash and a wastebasket.  Jaggar was belly laughing at him.  He came over to us again and gave them some bunny ears to wear.  He also didn't mind that Jaggar would run into his little area and hug him no less than 100 times.  He even came over to us a few times and waved to Jaggar and blew him kisses.

Travis always freaks out when I take a picture with my phone of the kids with Santa or the bunny because the photographers are there to make money, but I don't care.  They've never said anything to me, and I have sweet moments to share.
Costner Bleu was asleep when we were there on Friday, but we went back on Sunday and he came to see him.  I'm not sure if he was impressed or not.
Then he went and laid on this bench.  I'm telling you, if he keeps this up, he may rank higher in my book because I personally was very entertained.

Easter Candids

Okay, I lied. I have one more batch of pictures that isn't from this past week, but I just couldn't leave these out. Seeing how beautiful these pics are makes me want to use a CAMERA more rather than my phone. The quality is so much better. Of course, Travis is in a league of his own as far as photography. First and foremost pictured is my favorite. I busted out laughing when I saw this. If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many words is that worth? Sage smiling away and Jaggar with his scary face. Ha! I LOVE it.
Easter was so crazy this year because Sage sang with Kidz Alive. Remember she had to wear jeans and be there at 7:30 with me, so that put the traditional "Sunday best" photos out until later. And I had to wear jeans and a Thrive shirt, so I was past the point of caring by the time he took these. But I'm so glad he did.
I admire people that coordinate their entire families in Easter colors...I'm just not that person. I barely even got Jaggar an "easter" outfit. I found something I liked (this) 2 days before, and Sage picked out her own dress. I still think they look lovely.

I believe she put lip gloss on her eyelids.

Oh, Jaggar
Look at them looking like a little lady and little man--hands in his pockets.
He was over it here. Sage will pose for the camera as long as it's on.
Sweet babies. Okay, now I'm officially done with Easter and the first half of the year. :) Make sure to hit older posts at the bottom of the screen to make sure you get to see all that I've posted today. It was an uncharacteristic amount for me, but they are all worth seeing.

Easter Egg Hunt Recap

This is my last post of oldies but goodies. Travis got some beautiful pics of the kids hunting easter eggs. They LOVED hunting them. Jaggar, in particular, would empty his basket to "hide them again" when he saw that they had all been found.

I was surprised at some of the eggs that Jaggar found. He found a lot of the more obscure ones that Travis hid for Sage.
