Wright's Dairy Farm

In my quest to buy more organic foods, I've overlooked something great that's so close to home: Wright's Dairy Farm. You can't get anymore organic than this as far as milk goes. It's fresh milk right from their farm that is pasteurized but not homogenized, meaning the cream rises to the top. I was a bit scared of this, but I have to say that it is pretty amazing. It's NATURAL and tastes like it's supposed to. I was also thrilled that it's about 3 dollars less to buy a gallon of milk there than it is buying a gallon of organic milk from walmart. And they have a drive-thru! Woot! They also have fresh cheeses, ice cream, ground beef, and preserves. Thank you, Lord for a local answered prayer! I've lived here almost ten years, and I'm ashamed to admit that today was my first visit there but definitely not my last. So before we left, I took Jaggar over to the nursery to see the baby calves, and how sweet they were! He kept saying, "Cow! Cow!!"

When we first walked over, they were sitting like this. There were 3 of them.

Jaggar was not happy to be standing in that mulch stuff. He didn't want to put his feet down, but he adjusted quickly once he saw the "cow."

Then they decided they'd stand and check us out!

How precious is Jaggar's face!!

Sweet baby calf. I hate that I cut his nose off in this picture, but to my credit, the sun was so bright that I couldn't see my phone!

Jaggar is pointing to the calf's nose and saying, "Nose!"

And then he gave it a kiss good-bye. This is my favorite picture! He didn't actually make contact with a kiss, but he tried. :)
