School Project

Sage had to decorate this snowman as a take home project from school, and here is the finished product. What a snazzy snowman...or woman...it is.

Little Helper

Something that I dreaded about buying baby food was putting it away! It is such a pain to me, but this time it doesn't have to be because I have a little helper I can count on: Sage. She organizes it all for me and really does a great job!

Haircut!

Yesterday, I took both the kids to get haircuts. Gabriella was used to seeing Sage and giving her a trim, but she didn't realize I brought Jaggar in for a cut too. When I took his hat off, she couldn't believe all the hair that he had or that his hair had just been cut in November. He was actually very good. I sat in the chair and held him, and she put a drape over us both. This helped out in more ways than one because it kept his hands away. She kept saying, "Is that okay?" and I'd say, "Nope, cut it more." I didn't want to be back in two weeks! She even used the clippers on him. I think he looks ADORABLE, and she even spiked it. She said that's the youngest person's hair that she's ever styled. Looks like daddy.


He was excited to be on the couch and wanted the orange throw.

Just When I Thought...

he couldn't get any cuter, he just does! This was on Saturday, so he's 7 1/2 months and rapidly approaching 8. I really think that months 6-8 were really a week apart. Look at him!

On Friday, when Jaggar was asleep, Sage and I decided to take a few "mommy and me" pictures. It was so funny because she said, "I know what would be good." Then she ran over and got a house that my Grandpa made. She said, "We should put this in here because your Grandpa made this and he died." So we did.

Guess Who Can Sit Alone??

Finally! Well, he's definitely not behind, but it seemed like it took a while for Jaggar to sit up by himself. But seriously, once I worked with him, he was doing it by that weekend. So proud of my big boy!

"Snow" Day

Well it happened: someone said 'snow,' and everyone freaked. The forecast? A POSSIBLE 1-2 inches. I'm not sure if we got a centimeter in total, but either way, it shut the whole town down for 2 days. And I'm serious. Schools called off Thursday AND Friday on Wednesday. It was so funny to me thinking how I would have paid for that to happen when I was in school. I remember those days.

Sage isn't really big enough to want school to be called off. She loves school anyway, but I did catch her with her hands folded in prayer looking out the window. She said she was praying for snow. At one point, the snow was coming down pretty hard, so I bundled the kids up for some pictures. Of course, by the time I got outside, it dwindled to nothing but the pictures are cute. When it was snowing harder, Sage said, "I told Jesus 'thank you' and He said, 'You're welcome!'" How sweet.How cute is he?

Drinking like a big boy

Look who has a cup! I'm pretty sure he hasn't gotten an ounce of liquid out of it yet, but he spent a good 30 minutes playing and chewing on the cup we got him last week. How excited will he be when he discovers there is even MORE to it?

No Boys Allowed

This is Jaggar's new favorite hangout. Only he can't hang out in there. It's Sage's tent. And her LIFE is in there, kidding. But seriously, a LOT of her prized possessions are in there: her bubblegum machine, her dollhouse (with tiny pieces no good for baby), her doll high chair, and whatever else she could think to cram in there while allowing a tiny spot for herself. That doesn't stop this busy boy from trying though.


This is what he does when you say, "Jaggar....no, noooo." He graciously looks back before...he continues going after what he went for in the first place.

New Year's Eve

On New Year's Eve, our friend, Jeff, invited a bunch of friends over to his house. We, of course, did not stay until midnight. Jaggar was ready to leave upon arrival. He really doesn't enjoy being anywhere but at home, and that's okay, except when we are NOT at home. It was still fun to get together with all of our friends.

I should have posted all of the pictures that we tried to take. I think Jaggar MIGHT have looked in one, but I guess it wasn't good of anyone else. We always try to take one with the timer on Christmas, but the more children you add, the more difficult it becomes.
