Today was a much anticipated day by Sage: her first field trip! We couldn't miss out on that. The pre-k kids at Word Alive went to the pumpkin patch. I had never been before, and neither had Sage, so she was very excited. It was really fun. They had it divided into 4 different stations that were timed out. First our group went on a hayride, then to the playground, then to the pumpkin patch for a story, and then inside for a craft and snack.
This is the hayride. I envisioned us sitting on BALES of hay, not IN loose horse food. I knew there was no WAY Sage would get on that without me, so I had to ride. If you're wondering who took the picture, that would be Travis sitting on the CUSHIONED seat by the driver along with the two other MEN. Thanks guys.

Sage and her best friend at school, Hailey. They started in the same class, but Hailey's mom needed her to go full-time due to her job. Since she's moved classes, Sage has repeatedly asked me to go to work so she can be in Hailey's class again.

Sage's class
This is how it ended for her: stomping off because she was hot and hungry. She got over it once we got inside and ate something. She hadn't eaten all day at this point.
